Session lets you make professional-sounding songs and remixes the first time you open the software—even if you’ve never played a note before. And if you have some musical experience, Session can take your ideas to the next level. To get started, just drag and drop your choice of loops into your song from the included library. Use Session’s built-in instrument collection to layer tracks played from an optional M-Audio keyboard. Plug in a mic or guitar to record. Mix your tracks—complete with effects—and share your music with the world. You can even create your own DJ mixes, mash-ups and video soundtracks. Session does the work, you make the music
Session is easy and intuitive, designed from scratch to give anybody who loves music the means to create their own songs. You don't need any previous musical experience or a degree in recording engineering. When you start a new song or track, Session automatically configures and guides you through the creative process. In fact, the hardest thing about Session is tearing yourself away from it.
You don't even need to play an instrument
Loops—short, repeating audio clips—are the creative building blocks of today's music. Session makes it simple to mix and match loops so virtually anyone can create songs. It comes with hundreds of professionally recorded loops that you can use to make music instantly. Session lets you easily browse musical styles and instruments, auditioning loops until you find just the right ones for your next masterpiece. Creating your own music with Session is as simple as drag and drop.

Session's virtual instrument library includes just about every sound you can think of, all ready to be played from any M-Audio keyboard and easily recorded to tracks. Session also helps you find and audition instruments, whether the bass you're looking for is a jazzy upright acoustic or a funky hip hop synth. And if you're a guitar player or singer, just plug into the input on the included M-Audio Micro and hit Session's Record button.

Session has everything you need to turn your jams, DJ mixes and mash-ups into polished, professional-sounding productions. Sweeten a vocal with reverb and echo, make your guitars scream with thunderous distortion effects and put some serious thump in your drum loops with powerful equalization and compression tools.
