Question: Can I remove vocals or instruments from a recording?

Answer:

If the music you have recorded is on separate tracks, then audio editing software can extract just those tracks. However, commercial recordings on CDs are only two tracks (stereo), and so it is very difficult to extract just one instrumental or vocal part since they are all recorded together.

We have a couple of programs that remove vocals parts that work fairly well.
