Both Slow Gold and Slow Blast were designed to slow down music from a CD-ROM without affecting the pithc to help you learn or transcribe the music.

Mac
Unfortunately, there is nothing similar to Slow Gold or Slow Blast for the Mac; however, you can still slow down a piece of music with any program that supports time stretching, such as Cubase SE. Cubase SE is an excellent entry-level sequencing and multi-track recording program, and it supports pitch-shifting and time stretching, so you will be able to slow down a piece of music.
