Controller MIDI keyboards, such as this one, don’t have any sounds built into it. Instead, it relies on your computer to provide the sound. These built in computer sounds aren't very realistic, and can suffer from latency - that is, there may be a delay between when you play a note on the keyboard and when you hear the sound. The PianoBox is a great solution to these two problems - it sounds great, has zero latency and is easy to use. You just connect the PianoBox to the MIDI Out on the keyboard using the included MIDI cable and you are ready to go.
The PianoBox General MIDI Sound Module includes 128 realistic sounding instruments, 9 drum sets, a sound effects set and 100 drum patterns. Ideal for use with keyboards, your computer, or as a stand alone drum machine, the PianoBox provides an easy way to get realistic playback with zero latency.
